The Cardeto ponds are located near the town of Gromo, whose medieval center has been included among “the most beautiful villages in Italy” and as such it is definitely worth a visit. The tour offers a day in a water-rich environment and blueberries (the famous Cardeto blueberries).<\/p>\n
By Gromo climb in the car until the town Ripa Bassa (859 m) where you can park your car. We take the path Cai 233 that begins with an agro-forestry-pastoral road to the right of the farm Burlandi.<\/p>\n

Heading north on a forest road and trail pass through an area with cabins and meadows up to an altitude of 1200 m, where you enter a dense forest. After about 40 minutes we reach the hut nodule, soon after the trail leaves the vegetation and offers a wide view over the upper Val Seriana. We continue on the path CAI 233 starting to get around the slopes of Mount Madonnino and slowly gain altitude.
